About David Waddington

David Waddington has acted as accountant to hundreds of clients for over 38 years, and has seen the transition from shillings and pence to decimalisation, from paperwork to computers, from ‘old-school’ to ‘new-thinking’.

Vastly experienced in all areas of taxation and accountancy law, throughout his career David has worked with sole traders, partnerships as well as corporate and family owned businesses. For each of these he regularly finds a path through the ever changing mine field of government legislation.

David started his career in 1970, working as an articled clerk for a highly-respected firm of Chartered Accountants. Since becoming self-employed in 1981, he has built up a substantial portfolio of private clients and after becoming a limited company, he and his staff relocated to their current address in 2009.

The company is now an established firm in the Whitby area, with an ever increasing base of satisfied loyal customers.
